Rate Watch 10-11-2010

Columbus Day:
Today the Government and Banks are shut down in observance of Columbus Day. The stock market is open however but trading has been light. Gold has hit another record high today at $1350 per ounce. Mortgage Backed Securities finished last week with a real bearish pattern going into the 3 day weekend. Investors took some profits on Friday afternoon to square their positions after the recent run up in pricing.
