Rate Watch 6-7-2010

Carefully Floating: 
Stocks and Mortgage Backed Securities are starting the week near unchanged, after their rally on Friday. There are no Fed reports on schedule for today and not much news to sway sentiment. Crude Oil opens the week near unchanged levels after a turbulent couple of weeks. Crude Oil is at $71.79 to start the day. Over the past several weeks stocks have dropped and since the beginning of the year, the Dow is down 4.8%, the S&P 500 is lower by 4.5%, and the Nasdaq is down 2.2%.
