Alert To Lock:
The Labor Department reported that 651,000 jobs were lost in February. The report also revised the numbers for the past two months, indicating that 161,000 more jobs were lost between December and January than was originally thought. The US economy has now lost approximately 4.4 Million jobs since the recession began in December 2007, making this the biggest employment malaise of any economic downturn in the postwar period.
A rebounding stock market and continued sideways trading for Mortgage Bonds make this a good opportunity to lock in some of the best rates of the recent weeks.
