Alert to Lock:
Mortgage Backed Securities continued their volatile sideways today but surged higher after a down day yesterday. Today's gains were fueled by the strong Treasury Auction results. Stocks traded near unchanged levels throughout most of the session and finished mixed with the Dow down 1.29 to 12,213.09. Crude Oil prices were slightly lower on a larger than expected increase in supplies and despite the continuing turmoil in North Africa and the Middle East Crude Oil settled at $104.38/barrel down 64 cents.
