Rate Watch 2-8-2011

Alert to Lock:
Mortgage Backed Securities have had better weeks. MBS’s have traded lower over the past seven sessions. Stocks on the other hand have benefited from the woes in the Bond markets. Stocks are enjoying the longest winning streak in the past seven months. The FED is still trying to come to grips with the economy. Some fed members trying to unwind the accommodative positions of the FED while other members are arguing with staying the current course of easing. It looks almost certain that by the end of the year that the FED will start to raise rates.
